FORCE HISTORY TO SWEAT: AN IN-DEPTH INTERVIEW ON SU HUI YU’S PERFORMANCE-MOVIE IN BOGOTÁ
“A Total Story” premiered on January 24 at MAMBO, though it soon became clear that this was no ordinary film. Shot inside the museum itself, the film weaves together the histories of Colombia and Taiwan through a narrative told and inhabited by queer and trans people, who are prominently featured both in front of and behind the camera. Dive into this conversation with its creator, Su Hui-Yu, alongside Matilda González Gil, Eugenio Viola, and Juaniko Moreno, guided by J Triangular, the producer and artivist behind this project.

El 24 de enero se estrenó “Una historia completa” en el MAMBO, aunque pronto quedó claro que no era una película cualquiera. Filmada dentro del propio museo, la obra entrelaza las historias de Colombia y Taiwán a través de una narrativa contada y habitada por personas queer y trans, radicalmente presentes tanto delante como detrás de la cámara. VIROSIS: ARTE Y VIH EN COLOMBIA (1981-2023)
“Virosis” es la primera exposición museística en Colombia en la cual se presentan obras de arte realizadas en respuesta a la epidemia de vih/sida en el país. La muestra reúne obras creadas por treinta artistas y colectivos colombianos intergeneracionales, así como testimonios y documentos contextualizados.
CICLO DE VIDEOS REFLEXIONA SOBRE EL VIH/SIDA EN TIEMPOS DE PANDEMIAS
Por más de 30 años, Visual AIDS, organización sin fines de lucro con sede en Nueva York, ha programado el Day With(out) Art (Día sin Arte), una jornada de duelo y acción internacional en respuesta a la crisis del VIH/Sida. Anualmente, Día sin Arte distribuye un ciclo de videos de manera gratuita entre universidades, museos, instituciones del arte y organizaciones comunitarias para ser exhibido de forma online o presencial en las fechas alrededor del 1° de diciembre, Día Mundial del Sida. Artishock se une este año junto a otros 100 espacios.

J Triangular is an artist, activist, curator, neon poet, and videographer. Artivism united us, despite many times living in different territories. Common references, from films or underground figures, fill our encounters with passionate flashes. J inspires me to be brave and continue to seek a more just world through art, even though the questions that are asked or the positions that are taken may or will be uncomfortable. Here is our last dialogue, on the eve of the International Commemoration of the Fight against HIV/AIDS on December 1st.
