CONVOCATORIA/OPEN CALL: INSTITUTE FOR POSTNATURAL STUDIES (IPS)
Este programa ofrece una plataforma experimental para el pensamiento ecológico y las iniciativas culturales en un campus virtual expandido, abordando el potencial de los estudiantes desde una perspectiva de mentoría holística. Además, reúne a investigadores consolidados e instituciones de arte que serán anfitriones de sesiones de trabajo, encuentros y presentaciones. Convocatoria abierta hasta el 30 de noviembre de 2024.
CONVOCATORIA: RESIDENCIA SOLANAS ART EXPERIENCE
Solanas Art Experience es un programa de residencias artísticas orientado a las artes visuales, creado y dirigido por Natasha Ygel y coordinado por Natalia Revale, situado en el Complejo Solanas Punta del Este (Punta Ballena, Uruguay). El programa convoca anualmente a ocho artistas latinoamericanos cuyo trabajo indaga en los vínculos entre arte, arquitectura, naturaleza, tecnología y diseño.

Con la intención de generar nuevas conexiones entre iniciativas periféricas, LA ESCUELA___ invita a artistas, arquitectos, investigadores, educadores y organizaciones culturales y comunitarias a participar en la creación de programas y contenidos que vinculan las artes y la educación en Latinoamérica.
OPEN CALL: ENSAYOS SOBRE ARTE LATINO Y LATINOAMERICANO
Se otorgará un premio de 2.500 dólares para estudiante graduado(a) y de 1.000 dólares para estudiante no graduado(a) a quienes escriban una ponencia académica basada en fuentes primarias, cuyos materiales están disponibles en el Archivo Digital ICAA como Documentos de Arte Latinoamericano y Latino, así como en la serie de libros que lo acompañan, Critical Documents of 20th‐Century Latin American and Latino Art.
RESIDÊNCIA ARTÍSTICA NA SUÍÇA PARA ARTISTAS MULHERES CIS/LGBTQIA+ PROVENIENTES DA AMAZÔNIA
O Festival LABVERDE em parceria com o Festival CULTURESCAPES está oferecendo uma residência de três meses em Basel, Suíça, entre os meses de agosto e outubro de 2021, para artista mulher cis ou LGBTQIA+ provenientes da Região Amazônica dos países Brasil, Peru, Colômbia, Venezuela, Equador, Bolívia e Guianas, com domínio da língua inglesa.
OPEN CALL: ICAA AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING RESEARCH IN LATIN AMERICAN AND LATINO ART
The International Center for the Arts of the Americas at The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (ICAA) is pleased to issue a call for participation for the 2020 edition of the Peter C. Marzio Award for Outstanding Research in Latin American and Latino Art. Named for the late, longtime director of the MFAH, who oversaw the establishment of the ICAA in 2001, the award recognizes new scholarship in the field of modern and contemporary Latin American and Latino art.

Gasworks, in London, is accepting applications from artists based in the United Kingdom for a fully funded, six-week residency at Sagrada Mercancía, in Santiago (Chile). Gasworks’ International Fellowships Programme offers UK-based artists the opportunity to undertake a residency at one of Gasworks’ partners abroad. This programme is funded by Arts Council England.
Residencies in London And New York Supported by The Caribbean Art Initiative
The Caribbean Art Initiative collaborates actively and on the long-term with cultural institutions and not-for-profit organizations that exhibit and support artists inside the Caribbean region, as well as with organizations outside the region that provide public interest and exposure for Caribbean arts. The Initiative is frequently present at major international events that foster an interplay between regional and global art scenes. This year, the Caribbean Art Initiative is pleased to announce two open calls. Application Deadline is March 31, 2019.
