Although this is not an exhibition focused on water scarcity, nor on the consequences of climate change, it does establish a clear link between the sublime image of the landscape and the terrible state of our current situation. In a room next to SED operates the Centro de Estudios del Agua [Water Studies Center] (CEA), which continually evokes the idea of the individual’s potential agency in the face of climate crisis.

Desde hace algunos años ha trabajado con el artista chileno Gianfanco Foschino, dando origen a la exposición SED (THIRST), que se presenta hasta el 12 de enero en Matucana 100, en Santiago. Si bien esta no es una exposición enfocada en la escasez de agua, ni en las consecuencias del cambio climático, sí logra establecer un vínculo claro entre la imagen sublime del paisaje y el terrible estado de nuestra situación actual.
