Pamm Anuncia Nuevo Fondo para Apoyar Arte Latinoamericano y Latinx
El Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) anunció en el día de ayer la celebración de un nuevo programa orientado al apoyo de exhibiciones sobre arte latinoamericano y latinx. La diversidad cultural de la ciudad de Miami, debido a los procesos migratorios del norte, el Caribe y América Central y del Sur, unido a las características políticas actuales que atraviesa el país, ha obligado a los museos a cuestionar, transgredir y expandir los cánones hasta ahora existentes.

Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) has just launched the Latin American and Latinx Art Fund, a new affiliate group created to support exhibitions and programming at PAMM for Latin American and Latinx artists. The fund’s goal is to support the exhibitions and programming that PAMM has already become known for, including exhibitions on artists such as Firelei Báez, Carlos Motta, Doris Salcedo, Julio LeParc and upcoming exhibitions of Beatriz González and Teresita Fernández, among others.
